From an intellectual point of view, I'm good at remembering subjects. That is the main reason for knowing 7 languages today. Azeri language is my mother tongue and Turkish is a very similar language to that. From 5 years I have been studying in a British school, so English is my favourite everyday language. RUSSIAN.....I speak in this language more than Azeri mainly because of my siblings and friends. However, sometimes I may make some slight mistakes in Russian, so if you are reading this, my Russian speaking friends, feel free to correct my mistakes. When I had to choose a foreign language in elementary school, I preferred French to Spanish and German. My mother knows French, her knowledge was one of the reasons to choose it. Second reason was that..... French is the language of LOVE.......<3, I thought this language will help me in some ways....Then in summer 2009 me and my friends were planning to travel to Spain, therefore we decided to learn Spanish, but we attended the lesson only 3 times. Then I had an opportunity to learn it here, so I'm still learning, I'm even using my mobile phone in Spanish to get used to it.
And lastly, I think it's a nice idea to learn Chinese. Why Chinese?  As I'm a business student,  in future I will have to deal with many business people from all around the world. As we know, Chinese is going to be one of the most useful languages, and I find it really beneficial for my success.
I'm writing all of this because I wanted to study modern languages sooo much.....I even went to Switzerland and chose an appropriate college up in the Alpine Mountains.....but I hesitated to study A-Levels 2 years. But as you can see I'm still interested and still learning modern languages. Besides, I decided to try an opportunity in the UK and I'm really happy with my decision.
Now I'm a business student and I have so much to tell about each module. In the picture below you can see my class and people who became my friends.

Business Maths

Mathematics was the subject I loved most before I came to Bellerbys. Business Maths module, Mr. Jepps and the mark he gave me made me really upset. I was an excellent student in Maths....I always had the highest marks. I was the team leader in Math competitions....But here I got a low mark in exam, whereas in GCSE I had "A". Even once when I was 6 or 7 seven years old I cried of happiness when I found out that I have an extra homework for Maths. The problem is that here Maths was so simple, we were doing exercise that I used to in 5th grade. I was just laughing at all these factorizations or simultaneous equations. Mr. Jepps is a perfect person, but as a teacher he is so patient and was always explaining very slowly so that in 1 hour we could hardly finish 5 exercises. In my previous school we did at least 20 exercises in a 40 minute lesson. In some cases, at hard times for example, I'm very patient, but I love solving exercises at once because Maths is my favorite subject. Anyways, everything is fine now, I'm going to retake the exam. I'm seriously preparing for it, and I'm eager to get 100%.

Accounts

It was the first time I was having Account classes. At first it was really confusing and I was worried all the time. However, Mr. Tompkins was always repeating his favorite phrase - "You are alright, Zarifa!" I actually wasn't...But I'm very happy that at the end of term I was alright as Mr. Tompkin told. There is famous proverb "All is well that ends well" so I love Accounts!!! By the way, even is Mr. Tompkin was always repeating one topic several times until everyone understood it, I think he is not boring or funny. Besides, he is a very good person and one of my favorite teachers, I'm happy that I was one his favorite students as well =)

Business

Business is the subject I was, I am and will be interested in. The classes in college were sometimes interesting, sometimes boring and sometimes they were really demanding. I love planning businesses, for example, a company which designs wedding ceremonies...the wedding dress....the special ring.....flowers......In order to achieve this, I learn every topic deeply. I'm very optimistic, but at the same time a very lazy person. I didn't do any homework for business till the last week of classes. In 1 day I wrote seven essays and Mr. Cross really appreciated it, but he reminded that at the university it won't be that simple to meet deadlines and that I should become more confident and organized. In addition to this, he asked me not to worry and he wasn't the only the teacher who realized that I'm worrying all the time, especially about the exams.

CIT

Now I'm going to talk about the most interesting subject of the year - CIT! =) From my point of view, CIT is the subject of creativity and plays a huge role in the business world. Many types of promotion, including leaflets, coupons and journals, are designed with the help of technology. This term I learned how to organize presentations with making an eye contact, body language and with an optimistic smile which creates confidence. I believe I was good at CIT thanks to Miss Sarah )) She thinks that I'm a confident student, she told me that the last time I saw her =) I didn't know that, but now I try to be =) Miss Sarah is a positive and motivating person. Unlike other teachers, she wasn't looking at students strictly while they were trying hard, instead she was showing a big smile which meant that "Don't worry, Be happy" or "You're so beauuuutifuuul..." I wanted to ask that song's name, but I forgot. Anyways, Miss Sarah influenced me in a positive way) Now I can make leaflets and in the future if I'm able to have my own business, I'll do the leaflets myself. Not only leaflets, but all other works related with Microsoft Office or Excel, and presentation skills of course. Well, I'm not saying that I'm professional in these field, but at least I try to. While we were working on Microsoft Excel, Miss Sarah was absent for a while, all of the class were worrying, however, "All is well that ends well" ;)
